Gay Mens Health and Fitness - any realjock(dot)com fellas in the house?

i'm a realjock.com member, love that site but they don't offer any tracking tools. so, i am glad to have found gyninee. i am just curious if there are any other realjock.com users around here.

RealJock

Haha! I just sent them my feedback actually! When I first discovered the website it was great but they seem to have lost the focus and become yet another typical gay dating website where guys chat, trade pics, hookup, etc. It's really gone downhill.

They need to put quite a bit more emphasis on the workouts, diet, nutrition, etc rather than on the forums, the guys profiles, etc. People in the forums talk about sex, coming out and other completely unrelated topics which takes away focus from the primary reason that people would want to use the site.

I was on RealJock for a while, but I stopped going on, there wasn't much motivation for me to go on it. This place is a lot better because they keep tracking tools and such.

I agree with Keveridge

I was on realjock for a while, but it seemed more like a personals site with some articles, but not a lot of help for someone like me just starting out. I've already found much better resources on Gyminee.

I found RealJock to be far more of a personal site that somewhere that could be used to help with fitness goals.

Whilst the articles were helpful this site is far more useful if you're after a way to motivate yourself.

Realjock seemed to much more focused on the workouts as they introduced their workout programs and video guides. Those have been shuffled under for the social network features, lining it up with Gay.com or something else.

I always thought it would be great if I could track my individual reps on RJ's workout plans, and was pretty disappointed that we couldn't do that, but could add music and video to our profile . .

Anyway, good to see others here too!

On RJ, too.

I'm a verified, but non-paying member on RJ, too. Nice eye candy. Rarely use the site. I've started a new workout program with a friend after being lazy for a while. Want to lose some body fat while gaining muscle. I joined Gyminee today to use the food diary. Waiting for a new Polar HRM I purchased on Amazon...hoping that will help track my exercise. Look forward to making some cool new contacts on here and getting in top shape.

Like the 12-week workouts

I agree that the RJ site is mostly eye-candy and crusing, but I do have to say that I LOVE their 12 week workouts. Those work outs are showing me some real progress. (Although they are complex enough that they don't fit easily into Gyminee.) Well, I guess nothing's perfect.

Totally agree

I'm on RJ too - and definitely agree. It's a meat market, but can be motivating! I don't log on regularly - a couple of times a month, compared to gyminee where I log on most every day.

oh yea, it is a total meat market

it doesn't have nearly enough features to be taken seriously as a fitness website. but, for me it is inspiring. i see the perfect bodies on that site and it reminds me to put down the phone (that i was getting to order pizza on) and go to the gym. other then that, i am using their workout and eating plans.

Crusing Site in Fitness Site Clothing?

This is what I get from Real Jock, yes they do have Articles, but I believe that most people on there to cruise other guys. If they were really concerned about fitness, they would mold their website to be more like gymniee or bodybuilding.com and not Adam4Adam. Case in point, you post naked pictures.
