every morning

i weigh and measure myself every morning right when i wake up, sort of obsessive and foolish due to the weight fluctuation, but its nice to see the weight drop in the long run, plus it keeps me motivated.

Weigh Daily / Measure Weekly

I weigh in every morning and I must say it has become kind of addicting. Luckily I've come to terms with the fact it does fluctuate. If I get to a new low, I give it 2 or 3 days to see if I maintain before I get excited. Same with weight gain, as long as I'm making smart choices the gains are usually temporary. I measure myself weekly but I think clothes tell me more than the numbers. I can even wear clothes that used to fit me 3 years ago. Thank goodness my wife was willing to tell me they were no longer in style.

weigh daily

I get on the scale every morning, or nearly so, but I take
measurements only every week or so. I don't flip out by seeing the ups
and downs of the scale. My scale also estimates bodyfat percentage, and
I pay attention to the general trend. I used to keep a graph of all the
bodyfat measurements and then throw out the highest and lowest
measurement of every week. What's left gives a pretty good indication
of changes over time.

I am also one who weighs in on a daily basis but I realize that it will go up and down. I really look at the weekly trend.

Measurements I am not as good at doing them..maybe once a month. I usually just go by how my pants are fitting.

I weigh in every morning about the same time. Yes, my weight goes up and down but I don't let this bother me: it's the overall trend that counts. Besides, if it goes up one day, I know I'll have a greater weight loss the next ;-)

I'm not very good on measurements though. I tend to measure about once a month - or when I get an email from DB reminding me!

Daily

I weigh in every morning and log it because I like to see trends and I like the graph to have a lot of data points. Only recently have I come to terms with the fact that it's going to go both up and down on a day to day basis. Just weigh and walk away is my new creedo.

So far I have not been doing meaurements - I just go by how my clothes fit. I have dropped quite a few pants sizes and am back in my smallest jeans now. Maybe by Chirstmas it will be time for a shopping spree?

Every Sunday

I weigh almost every day but I try to only log on Sundays. I try to do my measurements every Sunday as well, but seem to get to my body fat only about once a month. I have been discouraged with that because I have not been doing any resistance training because I haven't had time to get to the gym, so the body fat isn't dropping. At least I know why, which is half the battle.

Measurements

I do mine every 2 weeks I cheat and check my weight a little more often maybe every other day but I get fustrated doing it because it goes up and down so much. This last weight & measurements (10/31) I only lost .4 lbs but I lost 1 inch around my waist, gut and hips so I must be doing something right.
