Daily Burn Super Users Support Group - The Venting Room

Ever feel like you just need a place to vent? This is the place to do it - no big deal, just get it out there!

I want to vent about my stupid broken toe/foot - it hurts and the stupid shoe thing I have to wear is making it worse. I've never broken anything before and it's frustrating. It's putting a real stall in my training plan too!!

UGH!!!

non active groups

ok, seriously, whats the point of being in some of these "support groups" if alot of them arent active, or dont have active memebers? doesn't kind of defeat the purpose?

Jenmaster2003 : just shared this quote with one of my motivators. 'Begin each day anew and forgive yourself for yesterday' If you log everything that you eat and have one of your motivators promise to check your food log everyday you'll be surprised how much you will change your eating habits because you don't want to be embarassed by your choices

Blew It

I just blew it this weekend. I ate poorly, and now I feel miserable. I just kept eating food full of sodium and fat. I can’t sleep due to pains in my stomach from eating all that unhealthy food. I have to get out of this funk, and get back on track tomorrow. If anyone out there has some support or motivation, it would be much appreciated. - Jenny

Ang, can you do upper-body workouts while your foot is rehabbing? I am really sorry . . .

Apps for Daily Burn

You're telling me that not only does DB have a scale that can weigh in for you-they have 2? Not that I have a huge problem with that, but I DO have a problem with the fact that this site helps me stay accountable and I cannot use it on my Blackberry. But I can buy a scale that will log in for me. Hmmm. Home is where I have a computer, not at the restaurant when I am struggling with the choices I have to make. I found this site about 2 years ago when I had an iphone. Great site, crappy phone. Now I'm being punished for being addicted to my BB. Ok, I'm done being psycho now.

After my last weight training session, the old symptoms of golfer's elbow have returned so that means I won't be able to do any weight training (other than for my legs) for 2 weeks or so. I first got this about a year ago but I had slowly recovered, although it took about 6 months in all.

This is so annoying! I wish I knew what I was doing wrong, or what particular exercises could be aggravating it.

I guess I'll have to increase my cardio in the meantime.

Warped Advertisers

Sonic Java Chillers; peppermint cheesecake bars, Magic cookie bars, etc., etc. -- These are the advertisements that are on burn all the time...What??? Granted, it's probably smart advertising strategy, but it's also seriously warped. Thankfully, I think I'm starting to clear the sugar cravings (finally)...

Ang, that must be awful! It would certainly knock me off my training plans.

I guess the important thing at the moment is to recover properly and not overdo it.
