As of today, I've lost 40 pounds thus far in four months! Woo hoo! I've only got two more pounds to lose before I reach the weight I want to be by Christmas. I'm now hoping to blow that goal out of the water!
Hello, am new to the group and new to daily burn as well. Anyone else having trouble with nutrition? I seem to have gotten my calories in check and even my fat, bot I seem to go over easily on my carbs and never even get close on my proteins. Anyone else? Any suggestions?
BTW Ang...CONGRATS on your progress *give big pat on the back*!!! Keep up the GREAT work!
You can change the amount of protein required in your nutrition settings. You need to consume 0.8g of protein for every kg of body weight. Take your weight in pounds, multiply it by 2.2 and multiply that by 0.8 to find out how many grams of protein you really need. then give yourself a 10% leeway up and down. This will make it easier to meet your protein goals.
I dont' know what calculation they are using, but I am working towards my Bachelor's in nutrition:Dietetics and all the recommendations for normal, healthy people is 0.8 per kg of body weight. The exception is post surgery, burn patients and people doing extreme training-I'm talking serious athletes and olympians here.
I didn't scroll down far enough and did the first calculation which gave me 191g of protein. Are you kidding me? After scrolling down, I recalculated and I only need 39.6g. I'm going to change my protein goals because I'm struggling to meet my current 90g
I'm under 200 pounds!!! 67.2 pounds later - I met my first goal! I DID IT! Next Goal to met - 185! I'm going on a zip line tour next weekend as a treat to myself. I can't remember the last time that I was this excited, proud of myself, and happy! - Jenny
I ate to many calories two days ago and barely exersized but then yesterday i ate right and exersized when it wasnt suppose to be an exersized day. Woot for working out even if you dont feel like it.
