how to properly track calories with non-weight exercises

Discussion started by brandonr79

Subject Description

I had one more question. When "submitting my progress," it asks me to list the weight lifted in your reps, even when the exercise is, for example, a crunch or a leg raise in the ab exercises.  I assume anyone doing non-weight exercises has experienced the same thing.

I've been listing my reps, but leaving the "weight" category as zero, as I'm not sure how to estimate how much my legs or my torso weighs!  I realize, however, that this will end up underestimating your calories burned.

Any idea how to be more accurate? I appreciate any ideas in advance!

Just leave it blank.

It will track the number of reps only.

This site has a calculator to count calories for different activities you might do.  It is pretty accurate and it has a bunch of neat tools other than the calorie calculator.
