Subject Description

Not much activity with this Group given how big it is. I am still doing 5x5 but now am now doing Texas Method.

What is the Texas method?

You can Google and find stuff on Texas Method and Mehdi posted an article on StrongLifts. Basically, it is an intermediate 3 day whole body program where you do 5x5 on Day 1, 3x3 on Day 2 and 1x5 PR attempts (or 8x3/10x2 speed sets) on Day 3. Instead of adding 5lb per workout, you are trying to add 5 lb per week.

Thanks, I am going to look into that. I have been on the road the last week, first Dallas and now Orlando, driving back to NY today, straight 24hrs! That Texas method sounds great.
