Post your meal ideas for Hard gainers with Clean foods! You shouldn't be trying to gain eating mcdonalds and crap.

Here is what I eat:

Breakfast:

3-4 Eggs, Hillshire Farm Turkey Kelbasa Sliced and scrambled in a pan.

Quaker Oats (not oatmeal) mixed with Gold medal NOT from concentrate apple juice. Sprinkle some Cinnamon after it's cooked.

Whole Wheat English Muffins with Peanut butter.

Fruit & Greek Yogurt.

Lunch & Dinner:

Grilled Rib Eye Steak, Steamed Broccoli and Boiled Potatoes.

Turkey Sandwitch, Baked Lays, Sugar Snap Peas.

Grilled Chicken Breast, Brown Rice, with Spanish Olives and Kidney Beans.

Grilled lean ground beef with Spanish Olives chopped in, with basmati rice and red beans.

Anyone got some good recipes? I'm getting bored with these dishes.

I don't see why you can't look to gain while still eating McDs or whatever else you want. It's on my mind, and I plan to try it.

I've been eating Pizza Hut everyday for lunch, and for most of my dinners, for a long time. I don't see why I can't continue to do that so long as I supplement with whatever else my body needs, but is not getting from that.

Don't diet - just eat smart.

the problem with eating fast food from restaurants is that the food is lacking in vital nutrients for good health. Eating pizza every day will certainly give your body some nutrients it needs, but you will gain muscle much, MUCH faster and feel more energetic if you eat smart.  Sure, you could eat only Big Macs every day and fulfill your calorie needs, but a wide variety of foods will help your body gain the weight you want - muscle - and shed the fat you don't want. Its ok to eat fast food every now and then, but try to break the habit of eating fast food often. Your wallet and belt will thank you in the long run.

I'll admit, I grew up despising vegetables. I very rarely ate them, and I never ate a salad until I was about 23 years old. Recently, however, I've kicked my diet into high gear and started eating what is good for my body. I eat salads 2-4 times a week, healthy fats, plenty of protein and carbs, and I still enjoy my meals. I refuse to eat what doesn't taste good.

I believe that's how you have to approach weight gain.  Refuse to settle. If you absolutely don't like a food, don't eat it. Replace it with something else. There are plenty of ways to spice up foods you think you don't like though. I've learned to eat many veggies by drizzling good quality extra virgin olive oil, balsalmin vinegar, and parmesan cheese over them.  There are thousands of ways to combine healthy foods to make delicious meals. You just have to take initiative, do some research, experiment, and make yourself learn to cook. After a while, it becomes habit and is something you actually enjoy doing. If you enjoy a smart eating lifestyle, it will be easier to stick to it. That's why most diets don't work, because people always give up on them eventually. That's why I say I'm not on a diet, but rather I'm simply eating smarter.

I highly recommend buying and reading the Men's Health Big Book of Nutrition and the Big Book of Exercises.  I bought both of these books a couple months ago and have thouroughly enjoyed them. They are extremely helpful for exercise and nutrition, and have plenty of meal recipes that taste great and are healthy.  If you want them for cheap, look on Amazon.
