I just started recently working out but after a week and a half of sticking to my routine. Eating a LOT, suppliments and pushing myself I've definitely noticed a noticeble growth in my arms and most certainly a noticeable "texture" in the arms so they're not quite as "squishy."
On top of that I've managed to gain 6lbs. (measured at lowest point in the day, so not water weight)
Congrats carrigan on your gain! Since I started the weight lifting competition on the forum, I've LOST 1 pound so far. Yesterday my husband got me raisen bread, a package of Pecan cookies, ice cream cups and a box of Cheez-its. I haven't measured lately though to see if I've gain any muscle.
i just joined this site so im the new guy, but ive worked out for about 2 years pretty regularly and i have gone from 130 to 155, however thats on a 6 '1 frame so as you can imagine im still skinny. i havent been working out for a while and i am just now back into the routine, so hopefully ill start gaining again. my wieght came very slowly, but ive found dilligent working out and good timeing on supplements and eating helped me the most to get past the "leveling out effect". glad to be in the group and hopefully we can gain the wieght we want!
