Subject Description

Hi All! My fiance and I just started P90X yesterday (I am very aware today that I have chest and back muscles!). We have 8 months to the wedding and we're gonna look HOT! :-)

Wedding Workout

P90X is the Best workout there is as far as my husband and I are concerned.  We have gotten through the first to phases so far and have both lost 30 pounds and put on muscle as well.  I think you will both be pleased with your results also.

Starting out too

My fiance and I are just starting the P90X program too.  I just got it in the mail- so we're starting tomorrow, but I can't wait.  I'm nervous, but excited.  We only have a little over 3 months to our wedding, but hey- it only takes 90 days- right?  :)  Can't wait to get started.

My very first time ;)

So tomorrow is the big day, starting my very first ever round of P90x. Got all the equipment last week and ready to rock (sweat?). Did the fitness test today and the only thing I failed was the amount of pullups. I could only do two using proper form. Anyway looking for a P90x buddy who is starting tomorrow or has just started.

My stats if you are interested:

Max pullups = 2
Vertical leap = 55cm
pushups = 22
toe touch = +11
wall squat = 104s
Bicep curls = 15 (22.5 lb each)
Ins & Outs = 45
Heart rate maximiser = 186,133,116,106,99

Weight = 104.2 kg
bf = 27.6%
total fat = 28.8
total lbm = 75.44
waist = 103cm
chest = 104cm
Hips = 115cm
Both thighs = 62cm ea.
Both arms = 32cm ea.

 

Check:

- P90x pullup bar

- Manduka blackmat pro

- Selecttech 552 dumbbells

- Pushup bars

- Healthy meals

- Protein powder

- A little bit of creatine

- A huge 90 day commitment one day at a time!

When I did my first workout I couldn't believe how weak I have gotten. I am telling myself that it will come back :) I substituted CardioX for Plyo today...didn't get much sleep last night ..superbowl party.

Keep Pressing Play

I just started phase 2 of P90X classic. I am kinda lightweight to begin with, and I would exercise a few times a week. I haven't seen any radical weight loss (thankfully!) but I notice by body composition changing. I'm following the eating plans using the portion control.

This is an excellent program. It works as long as you do. It is hard, but just keep your head down and keep pressing play.

oh boy!

Just started - Day 1 done, form is a problem and there were a few times I caught myself huffing and puffing and watching instead of doing the video.  I am hoping form and endurance will improve with time.  I have been overweight as long as I can remember and I am tired of it, so I am hoping to stick to this.  Thanks for the support, good to know others are doing this in their living rooms as well. ;)

Got through 30 days last time, starting over May 31st 2010 ..took some pictures last night..that is always entertaining.
