What to do after 90 days?

Discussion started by kylej

Subject Description

I've almost made it through the whole 90 day program (just 3 workouts left). So I was wondering what people did after they completed it?

I think I might start mixing some running in with some of the workouts since it is getting nice outside and need to change things up a bit.

Congrats!

Grats on completing your 90 days!

I don't know anyone who has completed the system before, but I'm planning on taking a couple weeks off, then start it again or try to do doubles if I can make the time.

They usually suggest a week or two between rounds depending how you feel. Just eat clean and keep moving.

After 90 Days

I have gotten the One on One workouts that Tony has and mixed them into my own round of P90X.  I have also done a round of Insanity which the cardio is crazy intense.

90 days later...

Congrats!

My first 90-days (lean) ended early March.  I had fully intended to continue on immediatley with 90-days of Classic, but reality was I needed a break from the 7-days a week workouts.  So....

After the first week I cut back to 5-days /wk and rotated cardio type  & weight workouts - similar to the plan they've laid out.   I made sure to include 3 days of cardio type and only two of weights.  My goal is weight loss, so this works best for me.

Now I am in the 2nd month, after the 90-days. Spring has sprung, so that means I'm able to do more activities outside(on the weekends).  For now, I am using the program 4 days a week (Monday through Thursday). Adding Plyometrics & the bonus Cardio Intervals to the mix has totally made a difference for me.  The other two days I rotate with Core Syn and a weight workout..and an occasional Yoga (gotta keep limber).

You will need to see what fits into your schedule. I recomend not taking too much time off, though.

Best of luck!

Thanks

Thanks for all the tips. After taking a few days off, I think I am going to make up a workout mix for the next few weeks... some P90X and some running outside. I plan on getting some heavier weights too, the ones I had at the end of P90X were getting a little to light, so that will be a good challenge.

I looked into those insanity videos and they look pretty intense, so maybe that is something I will give a try at some point.

P90X

Have you thought about trying P90X+ adds a little flare.

Getting back on track

For a while now, I've been trying to get back on track with my workouts with P90X. It's been tough to do that, but I've been through one round of it before. This coming monday, I'll be starting my second round of P90X. I need some more weights, but I have confidence that I'll make, but I NEED a motivator to get me going. :)
