As we get older sleeping usually grows more difficult

Subject Description

We're incredibly sensitive to a number of things that affect how well we can sleep. One of the biggest culprits for a lousy night of sleep is surprisingly the kind of pillow you use. Pillows aren't one size fits all. Some people need special pillows with added back and neck support. Otherwise your sleep could be adversely affected. For some people, it is just difficult to get to sleep with a low-quality pillow. For other people, though, the wrong pillow could be downright painful the next morning when you wake up, and it can potentially trigger sleeping disorders.

There are a number of pillows that you can choose between. An orthopedic pillow is one that's recommended for people with back or neck problems. These pillows offer the additional support that's necessary to protect your neck and back from injury or undue stress during sleep. An orthopedic style pillow has a curved area for your head to rest. These types of pillows are available in different sizes, so you will have to find the right fit for you.

One of the more popular orthopedic pillows around is the Sobakawa Cloud Pillow. This has the special dip in the center of the pillow so it conforms to the shape of your head. It is filled with micro-air beads which provide special support for your neck during sleep. The beads also adjust to your movements, so you’ll be supported regardless of how you change positions while sleeping.

Another popular type of pillow is the memory foam pillow. Memory foam adjusts to the shape of your head and neck. In a way it is very similar to the Sobakawa pillow because it adjusts to you and your movements. It offers great support by customizing itself to your form.

Sobakawa Cloud Pillow Review

Feather pillows can sometimes function as a good support pillow for some people. The material is extremely soft, but it can still provide neck support. Traditional cotton pillows aren't very supportive however. They typically just let your head sink down without providing much support.

Believe it or not water pillows can provide solid support. The water allows for the weight of your head and neck to be evenly distributed thereby providing solid support. They are often not as comfortable though.

These are a few of the most supportive pillows you can buy. The trick is getting one that both provides support for your neck, but is also comfortable to sleep with. The Sobakawa Cloud Pillow and the Feather pillow are 2 supportive pillows that I’ve found really comfortable to sleep with.
