Anybody here had any real success with the press-your-thumb-into-your-middle-finger mind trick?

I havent' really had luck with the triggers/anchors. For some reason I can't get really good imagery going.
I like that tapping routine though. It's impossible for me to be mad at the end of it. Anyone else have experience with the thunmb/finger emotional triggers?
I guess it helps to do it repeatedly, like daily or whatever. I'll try to do it for motivation and get back to the group in a week to see how it goes.
