First race for the year?

Subject Description

I know some of you live in places that start the normal triathlon fairly early in the year, but for me, the first one on my schedule this year is the Parris Island Sprint, held on the Marine base in South Carolina - March 14...

 

How about the rest of you...what's your first race(s) this year?

Pewaukee Sprint Triathlon

July 12th.  It's about a half hour west of Milwaukee!

Rio Marathon, June 28th

That is not a tri, but that'll be the first race for me this year.

The first tri will be IronMan UK on August 2nd.

I've done one ultramarathon (50k) and I just completed a half-marathon today. I have two more running races next month before the triathlons start. My first one i'm signed up for is on May 17 but I hope to have one more on May 2.
