wii fit

I really like Wii Fit. I've tried the first few exercises and so far they seem to be working and you get instant gratification by being about to see what your BMI and wieght are at the beginning and end of your work out

Skeptical at first

Now that I have used it every day since its release I am now up to additional reps and other exercises that are providing good exercise. I really appreciate the visual indicators to make sure that proper form and timing is kept which gets more from the workout. I never have done Yoga in my life but find the stretching with balance to be a nice addition to my workout. The fun of competing for the top score with other family members is probably the most motivational.

I agree

I was also skeptical, but bought it for my wife, and we're both hooked. The Yoga, which I was unsure of, actually is great! I really have to get on it more thoug. It really makes getting fit a little more fun!

Wii Fit ROCKS!

Hi everyone!  I LOVE the Wii Fit!!!  I hate to exercise so I'll do it for a week and then I quit.  With the WF I have been exercising for at least 3 time a week for a month. Now if I can just keep the diet going, I'm in business. I have 30 pounds to loose before October!  Eek!  So far, so good, I haven't lost anything yet (the diet part is the problem) but at least I'm getting off the couch.

I forgot...

to mention what exercises I'm doing.  I do the strength training, aerobics, and the balance exercises.  The strength training is a tough workout. I'm now adding reps and it's rough but fun.

Waiting to get started

I haven't managed to get a Wii Fit yet but I should have one on the next couple of weeks, I'm really looking forward to it.  There is only one thing that concerns me slightly and I hope you guys will be able to give me some advice. I am paranoid about anyone knowing my weight - will my husband see this info when he uses the Wii fit? I know it's a silly thing to worry about, but what can I say, I'm silly!

Weighing in on the Wii Fit

Don't worry about anyone seeing your actual weight.  When you weigh in it just tells you your BMI.  If you want to know your weight you can hit the weight button and it will tell you.  Also you can put a password on your Mii so you're the only one that can look at your weight graph.  I hope this info helps.
