Fitness and Faith for Christians - What is your favorite Christian music to workout to?

The title says it all!

My favorite is probably Jesse Daniels when working out with others and Family Force 5 when working out alone (they're a bit rowdy for others. :P)

My Workout Mix

I have a gym playlist on my itouch and it is loaded with:

Skillet, TFK, Fireflight, TobyMac, Newsboys, 38th Parallel, Third Day, the Letter Black, Pillar, and Petra. I really need music to keep me up.

On a side note I saw Skillet in concert a few weeks ago and they "rocked my face off".

Keep Lifting.

Usally it's Toby Mac' s live album, Alive and Transported. Sometimes I will switch it to Portable Sounds or Matthew West, Third Day, Brandon Heath.... Depends on my mood for the day and how much motivation I need.

David Crowder and Tomlin

I have all of my songs on shuffle and it varies from David Crowder, Third Day, Jeremy Camp, Tomlin, and Etc.

One thing I found interesting today is that I got into mile 3 of my run and Tomlin's "Amazing Grace(chains are gone)" came on and it incredibly inspired me. Its an wonderful song, but I would never think a slow Tomlin song could move me so much while running.

I love to listen to TFK (through up your rawk fist), RED, and lately Toby Mac. The entire Portable Sounds CD is awesome to listen to anytime and there are about 4 soungs that will just get you up and moving.

Depends on the workout

When I walk outside in the morning (my favorite time of day to walk, if I can get out of bed :) ), I like to listen to upbeat praise music. My church Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, has some great CDs. I find them very motivational and encouraging and they just get my mind on the right course for the day. When I lift weights with my husband (and sometimes when I walk), I like TobyMac. His album Portable Sounds has some great music on it--upbeat and positive.

Not possible for me

My wife & I bought an ipod a year ago. She swore she'd never use it b/c she couldn't figure out how to put music on it. I showed her how, & I haven't seen it since.

I discovered a good radio station in the DFW area 89.7 power fm. It plays good HARD Christian rock.
