Success Over 50

Subject Description

Jeff here..male, 51 in March, 6'4'' and as late as Dec 12 weighed in at 260. Alogn with that came a cholesterol reading of 247, BP of 140/105 and blood sugar @ 125. All this and the fact that three years ago had 4 stents in planted in 2 different arteries. Walking disaster area.

In December I decided I was tired.. tired of being tired, tired of thinking about when I was fit (and I was), tired of being fat. So I decided to change..did the Math diet and begain working out, hard.

Math diet is easy...burn more claories than you take in. Limit intake to 1500 and hope to burn 4000 a day. With a net deficit of 2500 per day, mathematically you lose 2 bls every 3 days.

And it worked..I can do it and each you reading this can. The temptations are hard, no doubt. But it can be done...just gotta want to do it.

Today went to the doc and tipped the scales at 241 with bp 2 105/70. Now meds have helped the bp but Doc is now downgrading as weight loss coupled with the meds gave better than expected results.

Anyway, if anyone thinks they can't do it...you won't. If you think you can..you will.

Good luck to all of you over 50's...its tough but it can be done.
