I don't take anything to boost metabolisim, but exercising does that for me naturally. When I exercise, I like to give it my all and hit the gym hard. It always makes me so hungry after so I am just eating all day. Thing is, since I eat all day, I spread my meals throught the whole day and just eat enough throughout the day and not much to much at very distant periods. That helps me keep my metabolism very high, and anything I over eat, I kill it with exercise. Plus, even though I eat alot, I do try eat healthy. Its when I don't exercise that I loose my hunger, get skinny, but then mess up my metabolism and begin to get fat on the abs.
I have read some foods help with jump starting metabolism. One thing I read was on spicy foods, apparently they are great for that. Read one guys post saying he eats a tuna wrap in the morning with the spices to kick up the metabolism. Look it up, and good luck on your venture.
Exercise and good diet is the best way to go, even if you keep it simple and moderate.

If you do take Healthy Trim beware...you cant drink any caffeine while you are taking it or "it diminishes results" or something like that...so no coffee! Also, you cant eat diet stuff - bars, drink diet sodas, etc...it "diminishes results" as well...and apparently if you maintain the same exercise and eat right routine while NOT on Healthy Trim, you still lose weight...so what are they really doing??? Anyway, that is just stuff I read.
Also, if you are on Healthy Trim (and prob. other diet pills) be sure to drink lots of water, I hear those things dehydrate people!
