Hello...

I noticed that, too. We have over 80 members and no one seems to have a lot to say... uhm...?

re: Hello...

Well does everyone want to talk about? here's a few topics that could be discussed :

What is everyones goals for Fitness (I assuming fitness is the reason we are all using Gyminee)?

Since we are all computer geeks, what is it you like doing on/with computers?

Ok, there are two topics of conversation. And to show I'm not totally anti-social I'll be the first to answer both.

I've many fitness goals. I'm a big guy so obivously I want to lose weight, but I'm also trying find a good healthy lifestyle that will compliment my hours of sitting in front of my computer.

As to what I like to do with computers, I like to develope software, surf the web from time to time and play video games (Mostly first person shooters, but I also like turn based RPG's and real time startegy games)

Yeah

The only thing I may be able to talk about is web development!

My fitness goal is to be able to hang with the seniors when I go help coach wrestling practice at my old high school.  I already lost 40+ pounds so I can hang with the 9th-11th graders but the seniors always out-cardio me.  I guess i have more work to do!

RE: Hello

My fitness goals are all designed to bring my actual body more in-line with what I perceive my ideal image to be.

As for what I do on/with computers, I'm a database developer and, currently, am focused on Oracle applications.

Re: Yeah

That's awesome, I wrestled back in Jr. High and High school. I would loved to get involved in someway with it again, unfortunately I live around 300 miles away from where I graduated. What do you do for Cardio?

Re: RE: Hello

Wow I've done some Oracle work and my hats off to ya. Oracle is an awesome system but I wouldn't want to touch it again with a ten foot pole.

Gamercize

Y'all should check out Gamercize.net - it's a piece of equipment that hooks up to your computer and/or video game console. And the computer/game will not work unless you keep pedaling or stepping on the Gamercize... pretty sweet! :)

Hello

I'm a late starter....

It looks like you folks really tried to communicate for a couple of days there in February.

An intro, I live in the woods in Vermont.  I was working high tech in Mass in the 80s and we hit a slump, went into the Post Office as an ET and have been stuck since (too much invested to bail now).... another 6 years and I get a pension and hope to strike out and regain some lost time.

Nice to be here!
