Missing

It is working

I have to admit I have not been consistent with this program, and it's been frustrating when I finally do motivate myself to do my pushups, because it's so hard!

But I got down last night and did them, after about a week off, and found that, for some reason, I am suddenly stronger and having a much easier time with them! I struggled to do a set of 8 pushups last week, but I did a set of 11 this week (when the min was 10)!

But just a side note that not everyone can finish the program in 6 weeks. There are a few places where you're instructed to retest and go back a week or two if you don't "pass." I had to go back and repeat weeks 1 and 2 (but moved from level 1 to level 2), and I'm sure when I get there I'll need to do weeks 5 and 6 more than once.

It does work

This is actually the second time I'm attempting the 100 Push Ups in 6 Weeks. The first time, I got all the way to Week 6, then my schedule got all screwey and wasn't able to finish Week 6.  When I tried doing them, I found it to be extremely difficult, so my advice for everyone starting this is to stick with it and try not to miss even a single day of the program.

At my peak, I was able to do 276 total (not consecutively, but spread out over about 5 sets).  Consecutively, I was able to do about 75 at my peak.  Compared to when I first started, I was only able to do 30.

So, I'm going to start again, but I'm starting at the beginning.  Hopefully this time I'll be able to finish!
