I wanted to know if anyone has ever used this product. Did it work for you? Did you have any side affects from it?

short term fix

I had a friend who used it and she claimed that it did help jumpstart things, but it can have all sorts of nasty side effects.

She said she would get panic attacks that she never had when she wasn't on it or since.

I opted out.

Really even if you do use it you need to eat right and excersize so my 2c is use the money to buy some new track shoes and hit the pavement.

Same Answer....

Rule #1 - There are no real short cuts.

Rule #2 - If in doubt, refer to rule #1.

First off, if there really was a magic pill, don't you think we'd all be taking it? We'd all be skinny and this web site wouldn't be here.

Just because it doesn't have caffiene in it doesn't make it safe. Hydroxycut just go hit with a massive class action suit over rhabdomyalsis - where your body eats up your own muscle tissue. Ephedra was pulled off the market for killing people.

Herbal is NOT EQUAL to safe. Hemlock is about as herbal as it gets. So is Nightshade, Oleandar, Castor Beans, Yew, Jasmine, etc.

Didn't lose weight

Slim Quick does have caffeine in it so you are going to have the side effects of anything else with caffeine. I helped me to stay awake when I work on the night shift and have more energy to workout. It didn't really translate into weightloss by itself. I wouldn't say I recommend it because if you stop it all of a sudden you will be really tired like caffeine withdrawal.

Fat Burners

Here's my food for thought: Most Fatburners are stimulants. Slimquick contains:

  1. CYCLOVITE Vitamin & Mineral Complex: A proprietary blend of the specific vitamins and minerals needed by women to support fat loss.

My personal opinion: GET YOUR MICRONUTRIENTS FROM FOOD!

The only supplements I take are Omega 3's

  1. ESTROTRIM Hormone Balancing Complex: Helps support a proper hormonal profile to optimize weight loss, reduce body fat storage, reduce PMS and control appetite.

- First of all "Hormone Balancing." This statement is very vague, and I wouldn't be messing with your hormones to control your appetite. If your body is fed properly, you shouldn't have cravings and be stuffing your face. If you feel that way, I'd see a doctor and talk to him/her.

  1. NUTRATHERM Thermogenic Complex: Increases thermogenesis and metabolic rate without overstimulating.

- Anything that stimulates you can cause heart palpitations, headache, nausea... if you are wanting a natural stimulant - have a cup of green tea or coffee

  1. AQUAPLEX Water Removal Complex: Helps reduce excess water retention and bloating.
- Bloating can result from you eating too much, being intolerant to a particular food etc.. Water removal is NOT Good. To remove excess water, DRINK more water. Seriously. Dehydration + Salt = water retention!

  1. CORTIFEM Stress Reducing Complex: Helps support the reduction of various stress-related hormones, some of which are responsible for increasing body fat and decreasing muscle tone in women.

Yes stress-related hormones can result in your body holding onto fat. The key is to find natural, techniques to reduce the stress in your life (more sleep, exercise, meditation etc.)

  1. XTEND Absorption and Time Released Complex: Helps improve absorption of the SlimQuick formula as well as deliver a gradual dose of the ingredients so that your metabolism is elevated all day long

- Your metabolism will work efficently if you are eating balanced meals regularly --- you can't starve yourself to loose weight. Our bodies are smart, and our metabolism shuts down if it knows you are not getting enough calories. So EAT :) .. in moderation and load up on plenty of veggies, lean meats, eggs, nut butters, complex carbs , grains.. and you will start seeing RESULTS!

Hope this helped!

Tried it

I used it for a couple of weeks and really liked the energy it gave me. I didnt have any strange side effects, but I usually consume caffine on a regular basis anyway.

The biggest problem for me was when I ran out and didnt have time to go get more for a few days. I was really moody and tired (caffine withdrawls). So i decided that it was not good for me.

I dont know how the caffine free kind works.
