    RE: Reflection

Thank you for your candid reflection about this class and dailyburn. First, I have to say keep up the great work - especially with the 'no smoking' thing. You should really be proud of your efforts. And as far as using dailyburn with your clients - I agree, it can be a great tool for you in terms of seeing their progress and helping them stay on track. When/if you ever want to upgrade to a platform that is a bit more personal-trainer specific (since DB is mostly a consumer-centric site), let me know. I can point you to a few web-based services that are specific for PTs looking to train/track their clients online. :) Good luck!!

    Re: Free Forum

Sorry I didn't get to this question earlier. I see what you mean about not having any adequate rest period if you perform one/two body parts (isolate) per day. I imagine if they perform a lot of open-chained exercises (i.e. bicep curl), they might be able to isolate some muscles better than if they did closed-chained exercises (which tend to incorporate many more muscle groups - like a bench press). And also, the training regimen may be different depending if you are a body builder looking for muscle hypertrophy or a weight/power lifter who isn't looking to get cut, just to lift the most weights. Hope that answers your question. :)

    Reflection

    A. I think the pros far outweigh the cons in terms of tracking your nutrition on a website like this. It's always a positive to track your calories and nutrients; it is pretty much essential to do so if you want to meet any weight, body composition, or strength goals. Dailyburn just takes care of all the work for you. Most food, in some form is already logged so writing down every meal isn't a concern. I, personally, can't think of a con that comes along with logging nutrition on DB other than maybe if you want to eat fatty food for a day or something. B. I did meet some S.M.A.R.T goals and the ones I didn't meet I meant to change. Most importantly I gained a fair amount of strenght and muscle mass through this site without putting on any unhealthy weight. C. I'd like to thank you,Miss Bee, for introducing me to this site. I'm in the process of obtaining my personal training certificates and all of my clients will subscribe and follow a DailyBurn account!!

    Unit 7 from Motivator

Hi adutra, After reviewing your profile I noticed you have been burning a lot of calories. What have you been doing to burn so many calories? I also noticed you have been joining some new workout groups and trying new exercises. How have these plans worked out for you? I am glad you are getting a lot of success from this system. I hope you finish the semester off strong and stay successful! -Shannon Ryan

I wanted to tell you that you’re doing a great job at keeping track of your meals; I did notice that you have been consuming something called Platinum Hydro Whey TC and I was wondering what that product is and what type of benefits you get from it? : )
