Although you say you may not have accomplished any big goals w/ DB, you have accomplished one of your biggest goals in your life : completing a FULL marathon! That is awesome. And I think the fact that you walked away from the DailyBurn experience with a bit more knowledge about your food intake - I'd say that's pretty good! Whether you're on dailyburn or you're writing data in a journal or recording your progress on video... whatever it takes for someone to learn about themselves and be a bit more conscious of their behaviors is really what matters! Good luck in your future running endeavors. Maybe we'll cross paths in a marathon event one day!

It's nice that you were able to lend your thoughts and provide suggestions to other members by reflecting on your experience. With regards to buying shoes, you were able to provide several options to the member. I hope you continue to share your knowledge as you develop into a stronger and stronger athlete! :)

It reading your thoughts about motivation, it seems you are aware at how to overcome your personal, program and environmental factors in order to stay committed to your exercise plan. I know exactly what you mean when comes to signing up for races in advance. It's as if paying and committing to the event somehow obligates you to prepare for it... rain or shine, fit or not, you'll be there! I did read your blog post about your marathon adventures. I'm happy to hear that you are continuing your training. 10k in thanksgiving and a half in January is awesome! Keep up the good work!

In looking over comprehensive workouts, I can tell you have included a lot of cardio sessions (which seems appropriate given your training goals). With all the running you do, I would balance your leg workouts with a lot more stretching exercises. Also, I've noticed in your weight training workouts, you haven't included much back or shoulder exercises... remember the general rule: what you do to the front, you must do to the back. So if you do a set of triceps, be sure to follow -up w/ biceps at some point in your weekly routine. :)

Reflection
A. I've learned that I need to have some real meals during the day. Usually my food intake consist of big, although healthy, snacks, but I don't have a set time of when I eat during the day. I eat when I'm hungry, which probably isn't the best strategy for weight loss. I also noticed that I tend to eat the same stuff every day. I need a bigger variety!! B. My workouts weren't exactly consistent, but I did have a set schedule that I adhered to for the most part in my marathon training. I didn't track every workout, but I at least got three days a week in. I could have used some variance in my workouts, too. C. I didn't use DailyBurn to its full potential, I have just never been the type to write down things that I have DONE. My whole thing is I write down things that I am going to DO. But, I rarely write down my schedule for the week, I more write down what I want to get acclompished. So, in that sense, i didnt exactly acclompish any big goals with dailyburn.
