Scale
The scale is NOT our friend! lol It doesn't account for replacing fat with muscle. I seem to have hit a steady spot on the scale, but I know that my body is changing. I can tell from the mirror and my clothes. The fat is melting away and being replaced by muscle. Fat & muscle weigh the same, so I don't care if the scale is moving or not cuz I KNOW I am looking way better! And I'm eating a ton of food too! I can't finish most meals. But I will keep eating 4 or 5 times a day. I kinda got sick of salad last week! lol Now I'm in the process of learning more recipes. Please share any if you have them! Have a great weekend! Diane

just sgot back from the dr.
I just got back from the dr. and I am weighing in at 194 ... I wanted to lose a little more than what I did ... but I have worked hard and im doing it right so I will take what I got !!!! (and be happy and work a little harder for the next time )

Thanks for the tip about the burn. I used aloe for the first 2 days and then a cream from the doctor for burns. Turned out to be 2nd degree! I think someone must have not known the room was in use and reset the timer from outside before realizing it. I went back to the gym on Tuesday and have been fine since. It hurt a little sittin in the incline position, but that all. I am beginning to peel a little, but not much. (I hope this makes paragraphs!) Eating so many calories is killing me still! Like you, I could eat tons of calories when I was eating crap! lol But eating good foods I am eating MORE but less calories! And when I add in my workouts, it raises my calorie needs too! I don't think I'll catch up! But that's ok with me. I like how I eat now and so does my body! With the leg injury, do upper body and ab work. Make sure you give the muscle time to heal before working it again or else you may inure it further. Soaking in Epsom salt is great for muscle soreness/sprains/pulls. Give it a try. Here's to fast healing!
