About Me
It has been a long journey but I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. At a little over 100 lbs lost I can truly say that I have shed off half of my body. In the process of loosing weight, I found a new love for running. I love running long distances and consider myself to be an ultra trail runner. I enjoy participating in ultra trail marathons of at least 50k or longer. Running not only helps me stay fit, but it sheds off all of the outer layers and leaves nothing but my true identity. One of my new goals in life is to help others who are more than 100 lbs overweight and to reassure them that it is POSSIBLE! to get your life back.

When...
When you first started out, before you successfully lost all that weight, did you develop Plantar fasciitis at all? I developed it in my left foot, it's basically stretched and overused tendons that causes a painful inflammation. If you did develop it, I'd love to know how you dealt with it ... I'm itching to get running again asap and this damn thing has me sidelined.

Motivated Again
Just wanted to say congratulations and thanks. I have been very successful in maintaining my weight loss (over 50lbs so far) but I must admit I had strayed away from my exercise and tracking my foods. I got back on the site today and checked in on your progress. Not only was I pleased to see your results, but it got me motivated once again to reach my total goal of 80lbs. Keep up the great work and thanks for helping us all stay motivated.

New goal
I have a new goal in sight and that is to loose 10 lbs before the end of the year. this will place me at just under 195 lbs. In order to do this I really need to focus on my nutrition and watch what I eat for the next 3 months. Loosing 10 more lbs will assist me with an eaiser time during my ultras next year. wish me luck!

An amazing run, you have come a long ways within the past couple of years ... a definite inspiration. Hope you have a well deserved rest and recuperate well from such a tough run, what a terrific cardio workout ;-)
