Hello! We are Marketing students from George Brown College in Toronto, Canada. We are conducting a study on Wii Fit users; whether Wii Fit is an effective tool to lose weight and become more physically fit or if it's only for entertainment. We would greatly appreciate your input and it will only take you about 3-4 minutes to complete the survey. i have been away also. i'm studying for a big test, and it's hard to keep track while your mind is preoccupied. i might have gained SOME weight back, but i think i did ok even though i wasn't recording. good luck!

I'm back!
Sorry I have not been recording my work outs or food log lately. I stopped recording because I was studying hard core for my final exams and put the computer away so as not to get distracted for 2-3 weeks. Then I had two weeks off where I was out and about. I still worked out during that time though! So I did keep that up I just didn't record anything. But now its back to recording and making some progress! ready go!

protein
so the dailyburn website suggests a lot of protein. i think it's geared towards people wanting to bulk up. most other information i have read said that you do not need as much as dailyburn suggests. i changed my protein goals down to 50 grams. beans have a lot of protein with not as much fat. veggie burgers and fake meat of all varieties have lots of protein, again, generally without the fat and always without the saturated fat as real meat. nuts also are pretty high in protein, but they usually have a lot of fat, but it is not saturated and it's "good" fat.
