batbrane sent the following motivation to weeble: Thanks for the words. Yeah...I'll be pushing up from my knees alot, wondered if that was acceptable in the beginning. P90X is leaving me crazy sore. Does it get any better or does the muscle memory thing keep you sore all the time?

I think you'll adapt in time. I started from a "mostly-kinda-basically fit but squishy" point and I find p90x is challenging, and I feel muscles I haven't felt before, and I've been gimpy on some days, but for me it's not a crazy-totally-unexpected-and-new-how-can-I-bear-this-for-3-months kind of soreness. There's an active forum over at the p90x parent company with a lot people describing how they find the program. I spent some time over there in the beginning.

Hey bb, good to see you. A couple thoughts - I don't rely on DB's calorie estimate for the P90x stuff. How much weight do you lift for a pushup? It gets off, quickly. I keep a worksheet and just tick off the workout here to create a historical record. Today my KenpoX was said to have burned 800-some calories, which is wrong but I let it stand. There might be a way to do it better, but that's my approach right now. - There's nothing wrong with knee pushups! - Glad to chat about anything, either publicly like this or privately.
