About Me
I am a 42-year-old mother of two little boys (3.5 and 6.5). I used to swim competitively and loved dance and roller blading. I struggled with my weight after getting married (we ate out a lot) and gained a LOT of weight with the two pregnancies. Time to get the weight off, get fit, and be a healthy role model for them. I also love our awesome 4HB community here on DB. My blog is newsue4you.wordpress.com

One foot in front of the other. Don't have to be a hero. One step at a time.

I took a break
from SCD. I couldn't seem to get back on track and I was talking to my Dr and she recommended a very strict diet to kind of kick my metabolism back into gear. So for 40 days I followed her program and Saturday was my first day off of that plan. The next 2 weeks I follow a low carb diet that they call maintenance, but I'm basically just eating SCD. Once this two weeks is up I will add my cheat days back in and follow SCD to lose the rest of the weight. I went out for a big steak with my hubby last night and it was so good I didn't even miss the bread or potatoes, but I'm ready for a cheat day again. I just think that now I will be able to keep it to one day instead of 2 1/2 (Friday night to Sunday)

Thanks!
I had the same moment you are having about 6 weeks ago looking at my weight from last year and wondering how I got the motivation to do it then. I just finally had a harijuku moment and was able to make it through the first few days then once I started rolling I was ready to keep going. I hope I can keep it up and not fall back into those so tempting bad habits again...
