About Me
I am a 42-year-old mother of two little boys (3.75 and 6.75). I used to swim competitively and loved dance and roller blading. I struggled with my weight after getting married (we ate out a lot) and gained a LOT of weight with the two pregnancies. Time to get the weight off, get fit, and be a healthy role model for them. I also love our awesome 4HB community here on DB. My blog is newsue4you.wordpress.com

BelmontSue's Journal
just read an interesting article
It talked about going really low carb the day before a cheat day. Apparently this allows for less storage of the carbs you ingest on cheat day. It also talked about making sure you do super low cal the day after with a high intensity work out....

You can do it
I am so with you, we got this. I keep repeating in my head - Eye on the Prize. It worked today. Try starting a biggest loser at work and see if you can get others on board. You know what works for you, don't let that little voice that wants all the "stuff" win (need to take my own advice here) I have about 8 weeks to lose 20 pounds (hahahahaha)

Ugh - what a cheat weekend THAT was.
Started with a wonderful dinner at friends' house on Friday, continued through Saturday and Sunday dinner with the same friends. What is WRONG with me? Put the fork down and keep the carbs out of your pie hole! And while you are at it, hit the gym every now and then, huh, lazybones? Ugh. I feel like a sausage. This is not me. Gotta get these 20 pounds back off. That bathing suit ain't gonna wear itself!

Thanks!
Yea, I'm on a roll again, let's see if I can keep it up! I think a big part of it is that I stopped taking creatine two weeks ago and that's working itself out of my system so I'm also dropping the extra water weight it put on. Low carb is awesome. I also quit the beans. And cheat days. Cravings are not as big an issue as they were before. Good luck!
