    One Down

    Lost a pound. Got to exercise more. I have a physical today, so I'll check in with the doctor and ask for his/her recommendations.

    Three Things

    I am more than a little disappointed about today's weigh-in. This means three things: 1. what I'm doing isn't enough to burn calories 2. losing 10 pounds is going to be a lot harder than I'd anticipated 3. I need to dramatically change at least part of my routine, because my body really likes being at this weight I'm trying not to beat myself up about it. My major obstacles are fatigue (since I'm TIRED after a whole day of taking care of the baby) and laziness (since it's easier to eat a bunch of chocolate-covered apricots than to make a big salad for dinner). Got to get around this. I refuse to be at a plateau for 4 weeks.

    Timing

    According to caloriesperhour.com (which I love beyond measure), at the rate I'm going I'll need about 2 months to lose this 10 pounds. That's good to know ... it will make me be patient with myself.
