Eggs are bad....
before workouts that is... I made myself an egg sandwich early today and I cramped up bad during my morning workout. My trainer told me to eat some fruits in the AM and stay away from the eggs until after my workouts.

Back on track
I cannot get over it's been three years since I dropped off my plan to lose weight. Sad really.... I'm happy to have the fire back and I know this time I'll be successful as I've identified what caused my drop off.... Here's to a new life!

Hell of a morning
As my alarm was buzzing at 5:00 AM this morning I was thinking about sleeping in. I was up late dealing with some stressful family issues and didn't get to bed until midnight. Thankfully, I decided to slowly get out of bed and get moving. I can finally say I am pushing myself harder than ever at the gym. I'm finally finding my limit point on most weight exercises as I'm reaching failure at the very end of my lifts. I hit two milestones early today. One was hitting 200 on my bench press. Not a big number, but it feels good to be at that mark. I also managed to hit 300 lbs on my seated dips today. The burn after that one reached deep. My eliptical machine workout was a tough one. I wanted to complete 60 minutes which is a tough task, but at the end of 60 minutes I was very close to hitting the 5 mile mark and 900 calories burnt. I stuck it out a few more minutes and hit those two marks as well. I am so thankful I got out of bed and went to the gym. Had I not, the stress from last night would probably have carried over into my day today. I managed to blow off a bunch of steam this AM so I can move on with a clear mind.

Getting back
So I took almost a full week off of my training to spend time with my child in the hospital. She is doing well and recovering. I need to focus on myself now and get back to my training. It's always so hard to start back after a short week away.
