About Me
I am a former college football player/bike racer and current hockey player. In the past I have gone through weight cycles that coincided with a kind of "who gives a crap" attitude. I am working on finding a healthy balance and staying active in lots of different ways. I am the kind of person that once I get into something, I go all the way with it until I am done with it. I need to work on keeping a few irons in the fire and spreading my attention around to keep myself moving.

Bogleg's Journal
Day 64-68
I've been out of town for work for the past few days, hence the lack of logging (nutrition and exercise). I've decided NOT to be anal about my nutrition logging for these few days, instead focusing on just making reasonable decisions and eating reasonable meals. For the most part, I haven't done anything outlandish. Tomorrow we'll see where my weight is. I would guess I've probably stayed about the same all week and probably not lost or gained any weight. But tomorrow I will get back on the weight loss path and start logging everything again.

Old Clothes
Fitting (comfortably) back into 34" inch waist pants now... can wear my old 33" waist jeans, a little snug but not uncomfortable.

Day 63
Decided to up the caloric intake a bit today, and maybe tomorrow - still below my maintenance intake, but a little higher just to get some recovery and see if it helps my energy levels. I've had great workouts this week, but other than those, I've felt pretty sluggish. I might start zigzagging my diet, and do 5 down and 2 up every week (the 2 up being at maintenance and the 5 down being below).

Chocolate
Chocolate is a weak point for me too. I've been making an effort to substitute chocolate for some fruit instead like strawberries or a banana for the sweetness, and that's been helping the cravings.

Day 62
Great hockey skate this morning - felt really good. This being in shape stuff is awesome. Nutrition was ok today, kinda over did it a little on the chocolate. Still, not feeling hungry and energy level is pretty good.
