    hey bsoxfan!

hmmm... are you even active on this system anymore? I haven't seen any activity from you since December - according to your log. that's WAYYYY TOO LONG to not report progress! Come on! give us a post on what you've been up to. if you've slacked off, that's fine, get back on and start again! After all that is said and done, you're still left with further improving your situation. I can understand beating yourself up over things... but staying there will do you nor your kids/family ANY good. I hope you've gotten the blues outta your system by now... it's time to step up. If you're gonna look back on your past, then look at how much progress you have made!! that's INCREDIBLE! look at it this way... you already lost about 2-3 toddler's worth of weight... that's AMAZING! :) what's another toddler's worth of weight to go?? and if you've slacked, then look at your past at what you KNOW you can do... and do it again, and even better! go go go!

    RE: Dwelling on the past

I agree with loseit4good....don't worry about anyone but yourself and be happy with what you have achieved. Because from what i can see, you are a gorgeous girl and have managed to loose a huge amount of weight. Keep it up and don't look back.

    Re: Dwelling on the past

Awww hunny! Don't beat yourself up over things like that... sounds like HE is a jerk. Maybe he looks good on the outside, but its the inside that counts. (Cliche, I know, but it's true). Maybe you'll never quite look the same, but you have a wonderful son/daughter to show for it. I think you look beautiful in your picture and I'm sure you look 10 times better than you think you do! Seriously. Sounds like your self confidance has taken quite a blow, heartbreak will do that. Just remember that you ARE beautiful, inside and out. Infact, I want you to listen to this song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzyV1hm0c18 :) And like I said before, you've done amazing for what you've lost in the past year! And I know sometimes its hard to see when you look in the mirror how great you look - I know because I once was weighing only 95lbs and people thought I was sick, starved, etc. And to me...I was overweight and disgusting. Try not to obsess over the reflection - as girls we have a tendancy to have very skewed perceptions of your self. Given your height the weight you are at now you are in the "healthy" weight zone, so no matter what YOU think when you look in the mirror, other people are seeing a perfectly fine, healthy body. Just remind yourself of that, and if you want to tone up/lose more thats fine, but don't beat yourself up over the past, just look to the future and make it what you want it to be.

    Dwelling on the past

If only I had used retin-A during my pregnancy. If only I had stayed healthy through the last two months. If only I didn't have a broken heart and a broken body. I love being a mom, but I'm totally caught up in missing my perfect body and skin, my perfect teeth, and my perfect eyes. Everything changed for me, and it's not fair. He looks the same. He can have whoever he wants. No matter what, I'll never look the same.
