Past weight entries
I'm trying to decide what to do about my past weight entries. On one hand, it reminds me of how successful I was before to show that I can do it again. On the other hand, it also shows my failure in keeping the weight off. Another consideration is that I am 4.4 pounds heavier than when that history starts. So, I won't show a loss until I actually have lost those extra 4.4 lbs. For example, to finish the "Lose 5 pounds" challenge, I need to lose 9.4 lbs. I guess it comes down to whether I want to wipe the slate clean and start over or continue the roller coaster ride...

Back on track? Not so much...
After doing so well in 2010, I completely fell off the wagon. I lost 60 pounds that year. Well, in 2011 and so far in 2012, I have found all of them and a few extras. It is so easy to fall back in to bad habits. After flirting with 300, I'm finally motivated again to get headed back in the right direction. One big factor that made it so easy to find those pounds is that I didn't use DailyBurn regularly. I started tracking my food over the last week even though I didn't really change my eating habits back to good yet. Whoa boy was that an eye opener. One day, I consumed 5300 calories! No wonder I have been feeling so fat lately! I'm doing pretty good so far today. I used the meal planner to see how my meals fit. I wasn't totally good because I had soda, but so far, it looks like it is just going to push me to the high end of my goal range, but not out of it. I prefer to keep it near the lower end, but at least I'm tracking and making myself more aware of my intake.

Getting back on track
Well, I kind of got off track the last few months and went back to my old eating habits and quit going to the gym regularly. I did manage to stay a little active, playing volleyball and basketball each week. Still, I ended up putting back on about 8 -10 pounds. I guess I can be thankful that's all it was. I definitely notice a difference in how I feel - far less energy than when I was a regular at the gym. I have manged to get my eating habits back on track, but I haven't made it back to the gym because I have had a sore knee. It's starting to feel a little better and I think I'll be able to make it back on Monday.

60 pounds!
After flirting with it for a couple of weeks, I finally dropped the last pound and a half to get to 60 pounds lost! I would have certainly gotten here sooner, but I haven't been as strict with my diet or workouts the last couple of weeks. Honestly, I'm just glad that I didn't GAIN any. I'm still shooting for about 220 pounds before I evaluate whether to keep losing or settle into maintenance. That means I have about 13 more pounds to go.

1/5 of me is gone...
With a drop of another 1.6 pounds today, I am down to 234.8 pounds. That is a loss of 58.8 pounds or 20.03% of my starting weight! Amazing...
