    Loss/Gain

    So, here I sit on day #3 and I see the scale has jumped up 1 lb. from yesterday. I had lost 2 lbs. after the first day. I have had trouble getting to my caloric goal....I really had to work on it to get the number up and still did not meet what I expected to meet. It's a real eye opener to see those numbers and how fast the fat and carbs go up with very little amounts of food. Hopefully, I will get into the swing of things before long so that i don't do anything detrimental to my body...like seeng it go into "starvation mode" because I didn't consume enough of the right calories. For now, I KNOW there is no way I actually gained a pound of fat. More like gained muscle. I have biked 26 miles in the past two days and also done several hundred crunches. James and I lifted wts. last night (he taught me a lot). So I must be quickly getting stronger and therefore getting leaner! I am 1/2 inch down when measuring my abdomen...not bad, not bad!

    Carb Imbalance Day 1

    235 Calorie breakfast and 77% of my Carbs for the day already eaten, on 1 bowl of Fruit Loops? I did not know there was such an imbalance from something so small. This is going to be interesting. 1 hour on my trusty bike this am...will get in another 1/2 hour later with the hubs.
