ChunkyMonkeyPEI's Journal
One year...
Its been a year since I've posted...I weighed in this morning at exactly the same weight I was on November 28, 2011 - 153.2. No progress downward in a year but I guess on the bright side, no great weight gain either...

I'm back!
I've been working over the last few month and have managed to get my weight down to 153.2. I am pleased with that but want more! LOL At 5'0" 153 is still too high. I've been neglecting my "diet" and eating whatever I want BUT have started running and doing circuit training - I am surprising myself to find that I actually enjoy running! I have been working out on a semi-regular basis for a few weeks now and can aleardy see and feel a difference - by body feels tighter and stronger and my clothes fit differently. I put on a pair of dress pants today that I haven't worn in a while - last time they were tight and my belly/love handles were poking out over the top, today they hang and are almost too big!! I'm back on here to raise my awareness of how many calories I am eating and to make myself accountable for my workouts. Today is circuit day - yahoo!!

Getting back on track...
So after a rough week and a week-end filled with no exercise and bad food choices I am ready to get back on track. We've been BBQing a lot and I've been eating all kinds of Sausages, hamburgers, steak and lots of potato salad, caesar salad and coleslaw and consuming more than enough soda and alcohol. Yesterday it hit me like a ton of bricks - I felt bloated, achy, tired and had a massive headache. I can't remember feeling this un-energetic in a long time or so drug out - definitely not since I started exercising regularly and trying to eat properly. I got up this morning and decided it is a new day and I refuse to let an off week ruin everything I worked for in the past month...getting back into gear and gonna work my butt off!

ye weight goes up and down...
it's happen sometimes that weight is going up. It can be many reasons, too much water or salt in body, menstruation, not visiting toilet for few days...so Just do your thing, training and good clean food....and all will be fine.Do not weight yourself too often, 2-3 per month is enough. Just stay focus!

Not sure what happened...
So when I stepped on the scale this morning, I was expecting 158ish...only to see 161 staring back at me!! How did I gain 3 pounds? I weighed myself Friday and was 158 now this morning I've gained 3 pounds :o( I think I have a problems with salt and water retention. I've been working out, either doing the Ripped DVD, treadmill or like this week-end doing yard work (digging flower beds, moving tree branches, raking, etc). There's not a day that goes by that I don't so something and my big reward? A 3 pound gain...I blame it on the fact that we had ham for dinner last night. It seems like everytime I eat ham I feel bloated and gross. I'm gonna drink water, water, water and see if I can shed these 3 pounds this week.
