Re: my health
What does 3.1 mean? I know cardiac marker tests evaluate different aspects of heart function, but I don't know how your ranking fits into that range. At this point I would encourage you not to be scared... use that energy which might otherwise stress you out, and put it to good use. Re-evaluate your diet and workout routine and see where you can find areas of improvement. Otherwise, continue maintaining your heart-healthy lifestyle! And congrats on reducing your triglyceride levels and keeping your cholesterol low!! That's impressive!

Big life transitions - like moving - can often off-set your diet or exercise plan. Fortunately, you try and do the best you can under the circumstances. However, every day we have the option to make healthy choices... however big or small. An extra step, one less bite of food, etc... Stick to your walking and pool exercises and keep logging your progress and you should be fine! If you still want me to be your motivator, then add "befitt" to your list of motivators. That is my personal/professional profile. I only use HealthyBee to keep track of my students. I look forward to keeping tabs on each other (wink!). Good luck with your academic and fitness endeavors! :)

I think kids/family life can be both an excellent source of motivation, but also a huge barrier to exercise in terms of time management. To be aware of your personal, program and environmental factors that lead your commitment to exercise is important. I think having to take kids to school is an excellent reason/cue to get your walking in. It's by embedding these activities into our daily lifestyles that make our daily lifestyle a healthy one... You've certainly got the right idea about that! :)
