CountDrakeula's Journal
On My Run Today...
Nearing my personal finish line this morning, I jogged past a walker. A few seconds after I passed her I heard feet shuffling behind me. They were coming faster and faster, until we were jogging in stride side by side. I greeted her somewhat breathlessly, and she responded, "I am almost finished with my walk, and it never even occurred to me to try running until I saw you. This is great. I can really feel my heart pumping." We continued on greeting and cheering for all the other runners we encountered. It was fun and inspiring! Never thought my little morning exercise routine could benefit me AND provide motivation/benefits for someone else, a stranger nonetheless. Happy trails everyone. Keep up the good work!
