RE: DailyBurn Experience
Wow - you got your mom involved! That's awesome! I hope you two will be able to help each other stay on track! Anyway, I've enjoyed following your progress over the weeks. Stay committed to being healthy every day and be mindful in your choices! Have a fantastic spring!

DailyBurn Experience
I really like using this website. I especially like the nutrition log, you can actually see what you are eating divided up into carbs, protein, fat, etc. It is also a great way of keeping track of calories. Logging workouts was also nice, however, I often forgot to log my progress or forgot what I did. Another Pro was that I was able to learn new workouts like the superman and cross-crunches, all of which I incorporate into my workouts now. I would say the only Con for me was that it took my awhile to figure out how to log my workout progress, and when i did I would have to go back and delete the progress off of other workouts, because they would not delete from previous days.I believe I was able to reach my SMART goal of improving my overall stamina. By now I can walk at 3.3 on incline 5 and not be panting. lol. I really enjoyed this site and was able to get my mom join. I think I will keep my account, just so I can keep track of progress. And be a motivator for my mom.

Motivation
This week I sent motivation to my 3 motivators:Llourias, Weakland, and azkaitlyn. My mom really keeps me motivated, working out together is tremendous. Whenever I don't feel like working out she always convinces me and vice versa. Seeing her change her life with working out and eating healthier makes me work harder. She is not only my motivation, but my inspiration. I chose the elliptical thise week because it is really one of the most challenging machines. I usually stay on a one - two resistence, but last week when my mom said she stayed at resistence 7. I knew that was what I wanted to do. So I did, it was very tempting to quit, but my mom was right beside and motivated me to keep going.

Awesome
I really like your recipe for the Grilled Chicken Salad. I also like how you mix up your workouts. I've tried the ellipticle machine and lasted maybe 30 seconds. You have given me encouragement to try different activities so I don't get bored. I also really like that you workout with your mom. It is so much nicer to have someone doing an activity with you so you don't feel all alone or like you are missing something. Occasionally I will do an exercise video with my daughter and I like it so much better than doing it myself. Thanks for being an inspiration!

Grilled Chicken Salad
http://dailyburn.com/recipies/healthier_version_grilled_chicken_salad I chose to recreat the Grilled Chicken salad at Sonic. I chose this for my food because I have had it before many times, and thought it was pretty good to eat, until I saw how loaded with sodium, calories, and fat it was. To make it healthier I added One serving of Skinless, boneless chicken breast, Light Italian Ranch, A healthier seasoning choice for the chicken, Iceberg lettuce, and a cup of carrots. I basically thought about what was in the original salad and thougt of different ways to prepare it. I decided that the seasoning on the original chicken must be high in sodium,so I found something that would be better, but still tasty. i also wanted to change the dressing and have less of it.The brand they give is ofthen really fatty. Then to add nice lettuce and some carrots for crunch. Sounds so good that I actually might want to cook it myself.
