    Title...

    I had a pretty good work out today. I am really concentrating on running as that was my weakest event las year. My legs are getting stronger every day and I am able to increase my speed and distance every day. I can feel the runner instincts I had back in the day slowly coming around. Last week when I began running I could barely make it a mile. Today I ran 5 and was on track to go further but I just kept getting this nasty little stich in my side that I had since mile 2. I am confident in my swimming abilities so I am kind of putting it on the back burner for just a little while. I really really need some serious leg strength and conditioning. Going to look into some spin classes to keep up on the bike. But so far I can feel a big difference in my legs. Still trying to drop that weight to ease the process. Found a new favorite salad at noodles and company. I wish I could do more outside but this blasted weather!!

    Title...

    ugggggg. Cream of wheat equals bad distance training food for me. I felt like a ton of bricks all day! Focused on hard sprinting today. Wish I could have made it further. Just not the best day today. Need to get to the store and buy some more nutritious food and eat better.

    Well, My food intake was non existant untill Dinner yesterday. Spent the rest of the day sleeping after New Years shinanigans. Today begins a very long and daunting test of dicipline and endurance. Bring it on!!

    the twenty miles on the bike yesterday felt great. Although I know that I must get a trainer for my bike to get used to being in the saddle for long periods of time.
