Yeah, I lost
I think I'm finally getting back on track. I am controlling my eating really well on the days that I work and letting myself splurge a bit on my days off. Key word being a bit. I'm determined to keep up the good work. I will not sabotage myself. I bought a pair of size 14 shorts that I will fit into before the end of July. I figure 3 months to go down 1 pant size is being realistic, even on the slow side.

All I can really say for last week was that I didn't do any damage I just maintained. A friend was killed last Sunday so this past week was hard. As an emotional eater I am happy with how I did. It could have been a lot worse but there were really only 2 days that were not the best. Back on the wagon this week and I'm going to be strict with myself so I can make up for last week. I'm continuing to lift and am hoping to see better progress soon.

In this weeks personal training session we went through a work out to see where I'm at so she can design and workout for me. There are some things I'm really good at and other things I'm just OK at. I was surprised cause I wouldn't say I was BAD at anything. I tracked everyday this week with the only omissions were of not eating everything I tracked. I made real progress with not eating after I get home from work and I'm getting better at eating more protein. When I weighed in at the gym last week I was at 230 fully clothed and shoes on. I weighed myself this morning fully clothed and shoes on and was at 225 and naked 221. So I'm happy with my progress so far. I know that lifting will help me in the long run even though it hurts so much now.

I've been struggling so much since the beginning of the year. I lost the first 30 lbs so easy. I need to get back on track and stop giving in to cravings. I honestly think that while I do need to work on changing my unhealthy associations with food it can't happen overnight. The "cheat" day method was working well for me and I am going to go back to so I hopefully stop eating out other times throughout the week. My overall goal is work on cutting it down to only one "cheat meal" a week and then hopefully to one cheat meal biweekly. I started seeing a personal trainer at the gym. She gave me goals for food and I'm going to stick to them.

After our vacation I'm totally back peddling!! I'm getting so discouraged. This week I've been eating pretty well not to mention exercising a lot but I guess it isn't enough. I hate feeling like I have to give up every food I love!! I need to do something different. If things aren't looking better by the end of next week I might try Weight Watchers again.
