    While traveling for work..

What do you do when you are out of town and you are out of your daily activities? do you bring sports clothes with you? you pay a gym for those days in that other place you're staying? How do you handle your diet?? I'm starting to realize being a computer programmer is a no good for my health... always sitting all day long isn't good for me anymore.

    Time for a fresh start

Haven't you felt down because you give it your best, and then when you think you are doing ok, you stumble and gain a lot of weight.. and on top of that, everyone start to point out how fat you look? that just happened to me this week. And that does it for me. I'll start all over again. Good luck to everyone with your goals.

    Title...

Thank you so much. That's all really good advice. I stopped beating myself up after my first day. I told myself, you can feel bad about this now. But after that you have to get over it and move on, and I feel like that's what I've been doing. I feel really good today - despite having some unhealthy food at a work lunch party today. And I am taking it slow on the exercise. I actually ended up gaining lots of weight after an attack in which I broke one of my legs. It's a huge mess, but I finally feel strong enough to get over all of that and get back to my old ways. My orthopedist thinks I can start running again soon. I'm still taking it slow though - mostly walking with a minute or two of light jogging. Yoga is great though. Luckily I've been able to do that for almost the past year and a half. Sorry that was so long... That seems like a great goal that you have. Though, I don't know too much about weight loss rates. 20 lbs sounds like a lot for 4 weeks. But I think you can definitely get 10+ lbs off in that time with enough hard work. I'm all about the little changes right now. You've made such wonderful progress since joining DailyBurn. I'm so impressed! It's inspiring. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll reach your goals!

Hey thanks for the motivation. Great to see you back. I have started training for the 3-day 60 mile Breast Cancer walk I am doing so I will be kicking my butt in gear.

About Me

I'm a computer geek, always sitting in front of a PC. If not I'm either playing xbox 360 or at the movies which are all anything but good :P. That's why I'm changing some of my habits and starting to look after myself.
