Thanks for the pointers...
...the paleo/primal thing sounds quite interesting. What do you do for late night cravings and snacks? Are nuts generally approved? Goat & sheep cheese? I never really had a problem preparing two to three good, healthy meals a day - it's between meals that I often stray from my path. And yeah, side stitches can be easily avoided with the right breathing pattern and breathing deeply from the belly, not the chest. Better luck next time. ;)

Ouch
I am never NEVER running on the same day I lift weights again. I've had a stitch in my side for 8 hours, on top of shin splints, sore quads, and aching biceps. Owwwwwwwww. I did not know that there was a wrong way to breathe, and that is what causes side stitches when I run in the first place. Color me no0b.

Yes...
...shakes and broth are not much fun. :) Mixing in fruit, juices, soy yogurt and some herbs helps. What's the paleo/primal diet in a nutshell? I do look like a caveman at times, so this might be for me...

Nice job
Good job with your squats! They really are a great exercise. Good luck!

5X5
My strength has already progressed! I was able to squat 70 pounds with no problems, no charlie horses, and zero soreness after work. Gonna bump it up to 75 next week. Hell yeah! I don't think I'm getting low enough, but I'm still working on my form, and it will improve with time.
