Oooh, I love a workout that I can do in my room. I think I'll take your advice and do some abs tonight after my run. Those lunges sound like a good idea--next time! And SO worth it. Good work. :)

Ouch, I haven't missed leg workouts.
Over the summer I got into the habit of doing lunges, so I thought I'd tackle some today at the gym. I made it through 40, 20 each at 20 and 22.5 pounds. Jeeeesus am I going to be sore tomorrow! But it'll be WORTH IT.

Running
At the end of my first semester of freshman year, I could run four miles non-stop no problem. I had taken a jogging course for PE and was in really really good shape, the best of my life by far. I want to get back to that point so badly, and then not lose it again. So far I'm up to 2.5 miles at a time, although sometimes I do intervals for speed and don't run that far total. I wonder how long it will take?

Starting Out
I exercise fairly regularly, both to lose weight and to relieve stress/improve my mental state. I've come a long way already, losing more than 60 pounds in 3 years. I still have those pesky last ten or fifteen that I want to get rid of, and I'm hoping this website will help me keep on track, learn new exercises, and find other supportive people who enjoy fitness to motivate and challenge me.
