Medical issues have been resolved with a hysterectomy, and next week I hope to be cleared for lifting again.

I need to refocus.
I've had some health challenges that have caused me to slack on healthy eating and exercise, and as a result, I've regain 14 pounds. It's time to get serious again. I won't be able to do much exercise until after I have surgery, but there's no excuse for eating this poorly.

Now I'm way behind.
I've had some upheaval in my life this past weekend and it's set me back. Why can't I be one of those people who don't eat when they are upset?

Not the best start
I'm about 2 days behind in the 90 day challenge. I was out of town all weekend and didn't get back until late Monday. I very badly need to go to the grocery store and do some shopping. At least I've been working out some.

August 12 2009 - Body Fat Loss Challenge Starting
I calculated my body fat percentage and took my before pictures this morning. The pictures are horribly out of focus though, so I plan to retake them tonight, or possibly over the weekend. BF% is 24.3 based on the online calculator I used. It's here:http://www.healthcentral.com/cholesterol/home-body-fat-test-2774-143.html My goals for 90 Day Challenge are to reduce my body fat by at least 2%. I plan to do this by cleaning up my eating habits, continuing to run at least 4 times a week, and re-adding strength training to my workouts. It's been 4 months since I did any type of strength training and this morning it was tough to get through that first workout. I'm up to 494 miles for the year. Only 506 to go....
