    Hi Jon!

Long time, no hear! I hope you're doing great. I wish my weight gain was only muscle... even if it is mostly muscle, still some fat to lose. I should lose 10lbs of fat to be where I'd like. Whith less wieght and being more ripped I would run faster...

    Alive...and well!

Still plugging away! Hardcharging@Golds---wondering how I'll EVER catch up on 100's of recorded workouts! (I need a secretary!!) #1 son has become an unexpected SERIOUS MOTIVATOR! 15 years old, he's "riding the wave" (read: brimming w/ piss, Testosterone, & ATTITUDE!). Shedding some 54 lbs. and has rocketed up to a towering 77 inches in height! He's POSSESSED!---working out some 15-18 hours/week in two gyms and dragging my lazy a$$ with him at least half of those hours! Hope I can keep up, old man that I am! Pics soon, I'll hope!

About Me

"Fit fat?" Better focus more on the "fit!" We live in a world with significant bias towards all things outside of the standard esthetic appeal; hence, fitness or aerobic capacity is regrettably less important than "looking fabulous," measuring up to often immeasurable, if not impossible standards. I spend my average day with 5 year olds, so I've got a default "SUPERB attitude" setting & I'm willing to work hard to get & stay fit. Irrelevant goal(s)? In fact, #1 is a matter of economic survival: get within my "max" allowable measurement --- 23% bodyfat (though on a personal level, I'd much rather get "well under" that!) The rest of my goals are best contemplated within the context of "progress graphs"..... Inspired by the quality of life my Grandfather enjoyed as he worked out regularly in a private gym well into his mid-80's, I also know that regular exercise can be the poison pill for that dreaded "StressMonster!"
