About Me
"Fit fat?" Better focus more on the "fit!" We live in a world with significant bias towards all things outside of the standard esthetic appeal; hence, fitness or aerobic capacity is regrettably less important than "looking fabulous," measuring up to often immeasurable, if not impossible standards. I spend my average day with 5 year olds, so I've got a default "SUPERB attitude" setting & I'm willing to work hard to get & stay fit. Irrelevant goal(s)? In fact, #1 is a matter of economic survival: get within my "max" allowable measurement --- 23% bodyfat (though on a personal level, I'd much rather get "well under" that!) The rest of my goals are best contemplated within the context of "progress graphs"..... Inspired by the quality of life my Grandfather enjoyed as he worked out regularly in a private gym well into his mid-80's, I also know that regular exercise can be the poison pill for that dreaded "StressMonster!" Kickball session with clinic staff: damn --- wrecked my left "jumper's knee" during a home run burst of speed! Ouch!! 800mg Motrin by 1800...hope it helps! Maybe accupuncture?
