Colorado Experiment
Well, I've been following the experiment pretty close to schedule with the workouts but I haven't been as consistent with consuming the level of protein suggested in the program. I find that to be the really challenge! Going to (or close to) failure on the exercises is extremely exhausting. On some days, it just wipes me out for hours afterwards. For this reason, I probably stop at about 90% failure and this is probably the point that determines the level of gains. Yet, I have definitely seen increases in strength and muscle size and I feel just as, if not stronger, than I did when I used to workout 4-6 days/week. While I might not continue with the experiment as prescribed, one very important lesson learned is that short intense workouts with less frequency deliver much more results than longer drawn out workouts repeated throughout the week. Ask me again in about 2 months.

Back home!
Just got back on Friday evening from Boulder, Colorado. Great trip visiting the TechStars group. Not much chance to workout though and today I paid the price. It's been a busy month with trips to Seattle, Vegas and Denver (2x)-enjoy the change of scenery but these trips always tend to set me back some with my workouts.
