Juice
if it is a great way to start the day have juice for breakfast! you can use the fiber to make breads and such with. Good job on keeping raw as long as you did, it doesn't work for me. More power to you!

Raw diet= not enough protein and too many seeds
So I have done mostly raw for about 8 weeks, and I think the thing is that there is not enough proteins and too many seeds and seed oils. Many of the raw regimes call for very little, if any legumes or tofu; they even demonize the innocent peanut. But damn, is here a ton of seeds and nuts, which can be very fatty and just as expensive as buying meat. One recipe call for 2 cups of pine nuts. Have you priced out pine nuts lately? They are $20 a pound! Juicing, a huge component, can be very expensive and time consuming; plus all that fiber goes to waste. But on the other hand I must say raw juice cocktails are a great way to start the morning. So, will go back to eating mostly veggie as a rule, and not follow the whole raw raw raw bit so closely.

I ate like a mother***** today
Ate and ate and ate. But it was all good food, very sweet corn, sweet potatoes, lots of Miracle Whip ( I know, I know) and herring and such. Going do an old fashioned floor exercise at home because cannot find my tiny iPod shuffle. I need music to really pump it up! Also- Gluten free bread from New Cascadia Traditions in Portland Oregon is simply wonderful! My favorite is the teff bread. Good!
