Still going
On April 11th, I was at my highest weight... 355 lbs. As a 6'3" male, that is around 150 lbs over what I weighed coming out of high school. Today I'm proud to say that I'm down to 267.7 lbs. I've lost almost 90 lbs.. and I think I'm going to shoot for at least 40 more if I can help it.

Here we go again
I'm what's known as a cynical optimist. I'll keep at something even though I know by previous data that it probably will not work. However I keep going. I figure at some point, something's gotta stick.

That's a heck of a walk!
I hear you about getting into the mindset. Like you, I really enjoy exercise and being active. My trouble is with food. So in the past, what worked for you to get up, get on, and get into it when it came to working out and eating healthfully? Do you think those same things would work now? What adjustments do you think might need to be made? Hope you're having a good day!

Thanks :)
Thanks for accepting my invitation. How's it been going for you for the last few months? I was able to hit the gym today, and plan to go again tomorrow (something i've never done on the weekends). I was even out with friends today and managed to eat well without overeating. Until I got home. Someone made tacos and I helped myself to a huge taco salad with tons of cheese, sour cream, and chips. Some habits are difficult to change. Baby steps, right?

I'm back..... again.
You know, you gotta keep trying. I tell myself i only have myself to blame for falling off the wagon. I know I can do it. I just have to have the willpower to keep doing it and not succumb to lethargy and comfort foods. It's so easy to fall into it, but we all know the results of this behavior.
