Ethanhenry1 added a new comment to the Couch to 5K Running Plan program:i was running... - Not sure if you are talking about the couch to 5k description or not but if so..just click on the week you are working on and scroll to the bottom of the page..if not sorry! I just finished day 2 of week 2 and I am loving it, however i find that by then end of my second mile...i feel very sluggish. should I be eating or drinking something prior to my run that would boost my energy? HELP!!

Protein shakes are used to build muscle not really for energy. I usually drink my protein shakes after because it helps repair the muscles you damaged during a workout but I do know people who drink it before a workout too. They do have some energy drinks at GNC called Redline. Alicia would use these when she was walking and she said she liked them. Or you can try Gatorade. Hope that helps. :o)
